Homeschooling Multiple Ages
We have been homeschooling for a little over 12 years. My kids range from 3-16 now and we have learned a few tricks along the way. The first being that toddlers are busy bodies and they need to be kept entertained! The very best way I have found to do this is to keep things short in time and change locations. So, when the big boys are doing work at the dining table, Wyatt (3), will grab a box and work on something at the table. When it is time to do a language assignemt we mo

Finding excitement in HISTORY!
Let's face it, learning about history can be super mundane. History books leave a lot to be desired. "My plate is so full," "My cup is running over," etc. For the sake of this message, let's just stick with one portion of the dinner table, the cup! When your cup is full in life you feel energized. You can ac

Do you pray?!
This season has been very trying for my prayer life. Of course everyone goes through ups and downs in their spiritual walk, but this past year truly has been the worst for me as far as prayer is concerned. There came a point where I had been praying for healing for the family member of a dear friend, a child, and I just felt like God wasn't listening. The child passed away... and his family was at peace, but I was SO angry, but onto the next person I went. I prayed, they lost
